I have to admit to not hearing about this band until after they had won the channel 4 competition. They were recommended by a friend who had seen them before their "telly" appearances. I checked them out on myspace and liked the sound of the single highness. I then had the good fortune to see them live at the Bar Academy in Birmingham a few weeks ago. They played through the whole album and sounded very good live. I have to say the album lives up to my memories of that night. Some really catchy songs and great lyrics in a very well produced album. I heartily recommend it and if you can cathc them live then do so - you won't be dissapointed.

This is one of those must have albums where you will find yourself playing it over and over again! From the first song to the last, you will be amazed how each song grabs you and captures your senses. The opening tune is very melodic and wonderfully enchanting. You must sample it yourself! The last song Shipwrecked, starts out slow but really moves and picks up the tempo.

No need to go on, this is a top notch semi-quirky rock album. Well worth a listen, I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it yet.
