I bought this as a replacement for the 'premium leather and nylon' case that was supplied with my Charge. Unlike that case, this one holds the tool very securely with little movement when shaken around. With the Charge in the 'premium' case it was possible to remove the tool without opening the case, and although not too likely, that did allow the possibility that it could fall out - that is not possible with this case.
The case feels very sturdy and is made of thick leather, although this may soften a little with time. It adds a fair amount of bulk to the naked tool, but this doesn't feel particularly noticeable in use. The belt loop is quite tight and may not fit larger belts, but this does mean that it feels very secure on the belt and doesn't move or bounce around.
The case does have additional storage pocked on the sides, which may fit something small and cylindrical, such as a pen or whistle, but not too much else. There is also a pocket behind the tool which is presumably intended to carry the flat 'bit kit' slide, however initially at least this is very tight and makes the case hard to close.
Overall a very solid case and almost certainly the best one for the Leatherman Charge.
