Full Leather Weight Lifting Training Gloves Black Body Building GloveI purchased these gloves for my son's birthday present. He has now received them and is really pleased with the quality. Hopefully they will last a long time. He is especially pleased with the wrist support which has velcro fastening. The service I received from Turner Sports was excellent. I originally ordered a Large pair, but had to return them as my son's hands are very big!! Turner Sports sent a pair of Extra Large, which did not arrive - thanks to our wonderful Post Office!! - but Turner kept in touch with me by email, telling me when the gloves had been sent. When they heard the gloves had not arrived, they sent another pair. The communication and customer service was great and I would definitely recommend Turner Sports and this product.

When I opened the packaging, I was slightly disappointed with the gloves as they looked extremely flimsy and would not suit my needs. There was no extra protection for my fingers and I felt that there wasn't sufficient leather protection on the palm. However, I soon changed my mind once I started using them. These gloves gave me exceptional grip when using the bicep curl bar and subsequently improved my performance. I purchased a "Large" and found it perfect for my hands. The gloves were tight but still gave enough room for flexibility. I would recommend that any man buy nothing smaller than a large as my fingers are not particularly chunky - the smaller sizes are clearly designed for the female hand.Being an avid weight-lifter, I go through pairs of gloves fairly frequently but I get the impression this pair will last longer. My previous pairs had a greater protection for the palm and fingers but the stitching split almost immediately and the protection tore out after limited usage. Most gloves wear first on the web of the hand near the thumb but this pair has two layers of leather for extra protection. I would recommend this for all types of weight-lifter, including advanced users such as myself.

I buy sports gloves like this as I am a wheelchair user and they do a great job for saving hands from becoming dirty and/or cold. Also give a better grip on wheelrims.
