The item I received is not the one that is pictured, but a plastic lookalike.
I guess if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Stay away if you want quality.

I second Niko N's comments in his review of this item.
The strap pictured by the seller is not the one I received. The image suggests a fairly substantial, heavily padded grip stated as being made of leather; the item I actually received was a thin plastic grip with very little padding.
Although relatively simple to fit, I still haven't discovered how to fit it while keeping the shoulder strap in place - basic instructions would be helpful.
I've awarded the product two stars since it does work but it is certainly not as described.

OK this strap was cheaper than the rest but clearly for a reason...
It does fit to the camera & fairly easily though the excess strap seems to just hang off the side looking messy. The description states it can be used as well as the neck strap which I can't figure out how to do - regardless of the fact there were no instructions provided.
Despite being described as made of "soft leather" the strap appears to be made of PVC fake leather and only the top part is "leather" anyway the inside part that touches the hand is made of a very cheap synthetic velour type fabric that isn't really nice on the skin for long periods. It is also not padded at all.
The first ( main ) photo - which was the only one up when I ordered is not actually the product they sent.The other photos are of the strap I received.
Overall it does what it's supposed to but in the cheapest was possible - I wish I had just spent more money on a quality product which I am about to do now anyway...

Don't buy for Nikon D80
I bought this for my Nikon D80, althought it is nicely made when fitted to my camera it goes across your hand at the wrong place to operate the camera with ease

Too short
Don't buy this if you have a battery grip with the size of Nikon D80, D90 or D300 and above. Fine without the battery grip - but useless and too short with the battery grip... Read more
