I needed a stylish USB key to transfer media files to my TV. I wanted something that would both work well and look good. I decided on the 16GB one and it turned out to be a good choice.
When I opened the box I found it in a simple plastic zipper plastic bag (not a hard plastic molded case) I have to admit I was apprehensive: the possibility this having been a refurbished item did cross my mind. However, it turned out to be brand new.
It is solidly made, the silver plastic parts show no tendency to discolor off and the (faux) leather makes it look good. The cap is easily removed when in use and it stays on when not. I reformated it in NTFS with no problem. For the use I wanted it, I would had preferred it not to have the key-ring loop but it is discreet enough I do not mind.
What I found missing though (and made me deduct a full star from my rating) is the lack of any visual cue on it working. It has no light to indicate it is in use.
Other than that, a good product at a fair price.

There is little you can say about a memory stick aside from it fits (this does) and it works (this does).
However, when you come to something like this stick, you are in a different ball game. No flashing lights, no advertising logo, just a sleek swish memory stick that looks rather good for a change.
One advantage of the leather is that it is so easy to pull out of the computer when done with it, and so easy to grip. And believe me, some of the sticks I have incur a wrestling match to get the lid off! Not so this little beauty, it is perfectly formed and so easy to use.
The title indicates that it could be a gift - I would be more than delighted to recieve one of these as a present, so for once the title is justified.
Highly reccomended and would buy one again should I ever have the need.

Bought 3 of these for my daughters and worked fine at first but after 4 months the casing has come apart on 2 of them leaving the inners exposed so don't work any more. OK and cheap but not very well made.
