Great game for a rainy afternoon. I have children aged from two to nine years old and English is their third language. They all love this game. It has helped them recognise words in books that before they wouldn't have known. Simple but very effective.

It is good but theres room for more versions. Words are basic but does the job brill, My daughter is just 6 and leaps ahead of her class friends. I did although not use the spinner and made my own cards in bag so not the same word came out twice just like real bingo.. My 3 year old is now playing and is reading some sight words already got well worth the money..

We bought this to help our daughter's reading. She wasn't struggling, but it looked like a fun way of helping her along. If you didn't know (I didn't, but my wife did) sight words are those words which don't have a picture. Its one thing doing "A is for Apple" when there is a nice shiny picture of an apple, but "T is for That" will leave even the most imaginative artist a bit stumped.
So this game gets a load of these words, and turns them into a bingo game. Spin the wheel, read the word, find the word on the bingo card.
As another reviewer said, you may want to add your own words, as the challenge may soon wear a bit thin. However, it succeeds in its limited remit, and will soon have your child reading their becauses and whens with a new confidence.

Good for early readers
To help my granddaughter with learning key words this has been a great help. One word of warning; it takes ages to get the last words on the card unless you cheat a bit!

Fab way for little ones to learn spellings in a fun way
