Throw your flash cards away! 26 Nov. 2007
By Julia L. Boyce - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
As a teacher and a home schooling mom, I go out of my way to find new and unique ways to teach my students and my daughters. Recently one of my students got talking about math and multiplication. At age 8 he amazed me with his knowledge of multiplication facts and such. Upon talking to his father I learned that my student had been playing with a game called Digitz.

I asked to see the game, and was amazed. The inventor of this game has come up with a unique way to study and review multiplication facts through a variety of games. Even my 6 year old was able to set the game for the 0, 1, and 5 times tables and was soon learning how to solve the problems. She had never done multiplication before in her life.

In my years I have taught multiplication through class games such as Jeopardy and bingo. I have also used flash cards and such, but nothing compares to Digitz. On top of this, it is portable so that the child can take it in the car, and there is a volume control dial in case you are somewhere that it can not be turned up. I highly recommend this game.

A fun and Challenging Game! 20 Aug. 2007
By Fred Lusignan - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Digitz is an awesome game. It's not only unique, it's stimulating; lots of fun; competitive; and it's unbelievable how well children are able to learn or refresh their knowledge of multiplication. I watched a 12-year-old girl play Digitz with her 8-year-old brother. They only played the game utilizing the two tables and eight tables to start. The 8-year-old had never been exposed to the eight tables before. After less than half an hour, the 8-year-old was beating his 12-year-old sister in both the two and eight tables. He was also able to recite his entire eight tables after playing for only that half hour.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Digitz turn up in elementary schools as a learning aid. I know multiplication can be difficult for kids and this game has to be the most fun and effective learning tool I've ever seen. Plus there are five different games to choose from, all of which can be played by one player or any number of players. And they're all timed so you can compete with one another or try and beat your own time. Every kid should have the opportunity to play Digitz!

An excellent educational toy 27 Mar. 2012

This is like having someone review with a child, sort of like flashcards, but a lot more fun. It eats batteries! But we definitely saw an improvement in my granddaughter's math. I would recommend this toy.

Awesome , Hands on Learning for Multiplication Skills 20 July 2013

In my opinion this is probably the best digital multiplication math game out there. It teaches skip counting, multiples, sequencing, and multiplication factors.
It is fun and to play with has cool sounds and lights.
The only negative thing is that it only goes up to the 9's, but being that the 10' and 11's are very easily taught you would only have the 12's to reinforce . I would recommend this game.

My 8 year old daughter was having a very hard time learning her multiplication tables. I bought this for her. She starting with skip counting, mastered that and then went on to the multiplication. Now she gets A's on all her math tests for multiplication. Great Product!
