Got this for my son's second birthday - he loves having some of the engines he knows. They're all pretty well made and nice attention to detail. Track supplied is very basic but he uses it with compatible sets of track we've got from elsewhere.

My two-year old son got this for his birthday (a big Thomas fan) and he hasn't stopped playing with it since. On its own this track is a bit small though (he likes to make a circle of track and sit inside it), so we very soon bought more track to go with it. Note that it's compatible with other (cheaper) wooden railway tracks (e.g. Brio and Ikea), so once you've got a 'Thomas' you don't have to buy the more expensive Learning Curve track to pad the set out. Only gave it a 4 for durability as the paint does get a bit chipped on the trains, but to be honest I can't see how it wouldn't the amount of use it gets.

Good starter set but you soon have to buy extra track and trains
As a starter set this is OK but it is fairly limited and your children will soon need more track/trains/accessories to stimulate interest. Read more

excellent Christmas Present
My little boy got this for Christmas, and was very pleased with it, Fits with all Brio and Ikea track, nice well built and painted wooden trains.
