My son is Thomas daft and plays with his Thomas and Friends train set everyday (usually in tandem with his Thomas videos). He will play very happily with his set for hours re-enacting the antics of Thomas and Friends.
Playing with Thomas has been helping Liam with identifying colours and numbers. The stop and go is teaching him to let his trains "take turns" at going round the track.
The Flair wooden Thomas trains, track and accessories are well constructed and have withstood a lot of rough handling by an over enthusiastic two and a half year old. I do feel however that the paint finish on the trains and trucks could be better. The paintwork has become quite tatty quite quickly and, in the case of Liam's trains, started to come off within a couple of weeks of continual play. Although the set may appear to be expensive in comparison to other wooden railway sets currently available, it is worth bearing in mind that in the UK Flair guarantee their Thomas wooden train and track products for life and will replace damaged items free. Liam lost the tender of one of his engines when we were on a day out and within 3 days of contacting Flair a complete train was in the post!
