A gentle giant, Rocky is a very strong crane who can pick up broken engines or lift derailed trains back onto the track. Rocky wants to be everyones friend but has no engine of his own and needs to be pulled into place by other trains. Made from real wood , this unique 3-part crane features a working magnetic crane with 2 flatbed carriages held together by strong magnetic couplings. Rocky comes with a working magnetic crane which can be maneuvered to pick up and raise goods, trains or carriages for transport around Sodor. The Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway - Rocky is a great way to encourage imaginative play and enhance the Thomas Wooden Railway.

This was bought as a gift for a 5 yr old boy who has the Wooden Thomas train set.
He was very pleased with it, as it can lift up the other engines with the magnetic 'hook'.
Very good quality, and I'm sure will withstand lots of playing.

This train / crane can do lots of different things and deal with many different problems around the train track. Derailed trains are easily picked up, broken down trains are helped to their desination and goods get carried too. Lots of scope for imaginative play!

It's always worth paying I thnk for wooden Thomas toys as not only do they give value for money for the child they are bought for but they are durable and have a re-sale value too

OK on the straight.
Looks good and is as well made as all in this series. Unfortunately it does not do corners very well. Had to go back.
