This lovable, high-quality soft giraffe is designed to stimulate on-the-go babies. It features long, stretchy legs to pull, jingle, rattle and crinkle; squeakers in the body and feet to stimulate hearing; clinking teething rings to grasp and stimulate hearing; plus multiple textures to explore, pull and chew. Stretch The Giraffe also includes an easy-use fastening hook to suit most pushchairs and prams--great for when travelling, as it will also fasten somewhere in the car or on the plane. Suitable from birth. Measure 5 inches long, 12 inches tall and just under 4 inches deep. Machine washable.

    My daughter received this as a Christmas gift when she was ten weeks old. For a few weeks, the lovely giraffe kept her occupied by hanging from her activity arch/car seat/anywhere else he could fasten and she never tired of him! Now, at getting on for four months old, she takes him everywhere with her! He's the perfect size for little hands and I can see him becoming a long-time favourite with our little one.

    As always, LaMaze has come up with a winner in terms of colour and noise. i would highly recommend this (and others in the range) as very affordable and parent-pleasing gifts.

    Lamaze have a wide range of items for babies which all seem to work well. Stretch the Giraffe contains a wide range of colours, rattles etc to stimulate baby and keep him interested. The belly is black, white and blue - easy colours for baby to focus on in the early days. When baby is a little older he'll be interested in the dangly stretchy legs - one foot has a squeaker, two have (different) rattles and the fourth one is crunchy. There are numerous 'taggie' ribbons on Stretch which babies seem to find fascinating. Even later on baby will make good use of the teething rings. The large clip means that Stretch can be attached to a pushchair, baby gym etc to keep baby occupied. My 16 week old little boy loves him - even just holding on to him. Highly recommended, 5 stars.

    I bought this toy for our little boy when he was about 7 weeks old. He was transfixed by it immediately! There's something about the tummy of the giraffe that has kept him amused for hours and now that he is aware of the rest of the toy he can be entertained for quite a while - either hanging it from his baby gym, his bouncy chair of just playing with him with it. The colours are bright and the feet give a different sensation/ sound. I would highly recommend this toy! Money well-spent.
