Maybe there's something wrong with mine, but I have nothing to compare it to and Learning Curve have not responded to my query, it would be helpful if the description told you what to expect from the toy. It delivers a little, each train that passes through says "rock quarry" and it makes a crushing noise when you turn the handle, other than that I wouldn't say it has lights and 24 sounds. I am a little disappointed although my 2 yr old son has no complaints. It would be better if the barrier meant that the hopper car then stopped under the chute.

Purchased ready for Christmas 2011 because of excellent price so not sure yet about fun/education etc, however I have tested it to check it works and it looks fun to me! An excellent addition to his train set.

My 4 year old loves it.. so cant say nothing negative about it... was the best price on the net....
