This book is simple to read and understand. It is broken up into units which have exercises, information and interesting pieces to play. I tried using the book without the CD and found it difficult. Using the CD along-side the book allows you to listen to the exercises,hear new notes and the best part is playing along to either piano accompaniament or with another sax.
I have recommended this to several other adult students who have enjoyed working through it.
