Reviews

Two tutorials designed to make learning to paint in watercolour a relaxing and creative experience. In the first tutorial 'Coastal Adventures' David Bellamy paints along the stunning Pembrokeshire coast and demonstrates how to capture the mood and atmosphere of a subject. Tutorial two finds David in his native Snowdonia painting, in the most extreme of climates, stark and contrasting scenery.

As always with David Bellamy's books it is very difficult to put down until every page has been looked at. So informative and makes one want to pick up a brush and get started.

once again Davids 'getting into the subject' leads him into sitting in cold rivers and enduring the snow to capture 'the moment'. but not every artist can do this. I enjoyed seeing how he paints but this somewhat extreme method is not for me personally.
