1.0 out of 5 stars Dated and very poor 24 Feb 2008
I bought this straight after our first trip skiing hoping I could use it before our next skiing/boarding holiday as a refresher on the basics of skiing and gradually to pick up new ideas, unfortunately it's not only dated (looks like it was made in the 70s) but more importantly, whilst it shows you some technique it makes no effort to actually tell you how to do each them leaving you still clueless. Rather strangely it also has the basics right at the end (which it acknowledges in the intro). I can't see anyone getting any benefit out of this tutorial, experienced or beginners.

2.0 out of 5 stars Out of date - disappointing 25 Feb 2008
You get 3 DVDs here. The first one is your basic "how to ski". It was probably good stuff 20+ years ago, but skiing's changed and this wouldn't set you off on the right course nowadays. The second one is more modern. It's aimed at intermediates and it's pretty good. The third one is about boarding. I'm not a snow boarder so I can't comment.

The first one's a disappointment though.
