Product Description
Learn a method of touch typing with Pokémon through various routes and areas discovering Pokémon. The game is played with a wireless Bluetooth keyboard. Type the Pokémon names you see in the locations as quickly and accurately as you can.
There are over 400 different Pokémon, including Legendary Pokémon! Over 60 different courses and challenges, including deserts and forests and 180 medals to obtain (three per zone: bronze, silver and gold)
You will start to come across rarer Pokémon as you improve. Get higher scores as you improve your typing ability in each course and win Gold Medals. Increase the number of locations you can play by collecting Medals and researching lots of Pokémon.
There are more than 60 courses which contain over 400 Pokémon available in the game. Each course has its own features and targets in order to complete them, as well as three different requirements for medals such as achieving certain point scores, capturing certain Pokémon and not making any typing mistakes. Bonus courses allow more focused training on areas of the keyboard

We bought this game for our son who is Dyslexic and consequently suffers a slow writing speed. We have tried other software to improve his keyboard skills but they never held interest for very long.
Then came Pokemon Typing Adventure - brilliant. He is a big Pokemon fan and what better way to improve his typing speed and knowledge of a keyboard?! He is 10 and loves the game. It is noticeable even after a week that his speed on the keyboard has improved and he is more familiar with where the letters are placed.
The object of the game is to catch Pokemon whilst exploring different areas which are areas on the keyboard. E.g. area "X", area "T" etc, opening up new keys on the keyboard as you progress. You help new Typist Paige Down to make notes by capturing lots of different Pokemon. The levels start off easy, only needing to type one letter and progress until you are typing whole names - and some long at that. You have to type against the clock and as you move through the levels, the available time gets shorter. This can lead to shouts of frustration and "I was only one letter short"!! Bronze, Silver and Gold medals are awarded for each level depending on your speed.
The keyboard that comes with the game is well made and has a quality feel about it that you come to expect from Nintendo.
Overall, this game is great for improving typing speed and keyboard familiarity in a fun and sometimes addictive way, a great little package.

I was unsure of how this would play. It exceeded my expectations, thankfully. One of the best Pokemon games I have played that isn't in the main series of games. Very enjoyable with short fun rounds of typing exercises.
The keyboard supplied is actually Bluetooth enabled, meaning you can connect it up to compatible devices, such as an iPhone, to use as a proper keyboard. Highly recommended.

Pokemon typing game
After "playing" the game, my 10-year-old daughter is now able to type her class assignments. She really enjoyed playing and is more confident typing.
