2.0 out of 5 stars Good overview, little "How to", 8 Jul 1999
By A Customer
This book looked really good, and covered the right topics, but it doesn't actually get down to business. It will tell you what you can do in a way that makes it seem useful and accessable, but then just as you expect the instructions to start, it moves on to the next chapter. If you read this book cover to cover, I imagine you would have a good idea of what you can achieve using Domino, and roughly how you would do it, but not know how.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easier to find info in it than the larger books, 7 April 1999
By A Customer
I have two books that I use. This book, although smaller, covers the URL section in much more detail than the other book that I have for Domino. As another reader stated you need to look online for those URL commands that aren't covered in any book. I found my 'advanced' help at the Notes FAQ - specifically how to target a frame.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good startup reference, 29 Jan 1999
By A Customer
Was published before IE4 and NS4 came out, but it's got a lot of good examples for developers just getting into the thick of Domino using Applets/JavaScript. Good examples on URL's and pointing your users around databases.
