I really like this book, there are lots of exercises to do which gradually get more challenging as you go along. My drawing technique has improved massively already and I am not even halfway through the book. Basic shapes, light and shade, tone, perspective and much more are covered. Perfect for the novice like me, however, it might be a bit boring for more advanced artists. I should point out that due to the amount of content in this book, it should be called 'Learn to draw over several weekends'. I think its a great beginners book.
