Bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas and I have to say that it is absolutely brilliant!
Far more detailed and technologically advanced than i ever thought it would be!
Included is the Audio book - Dr Seuss: The Cat in the Hat
The box includes a USB cable and the Software to get the Tag Reader up and running, Takes around 10-15 minutes to install and load the book onto the Pen [(requires an internet connection)]
After the first install loading new books onto it takes only a few seconds
The Tag Pen itself is well crafted , fairly light for it's size and easy for small hands to use.
It works amazingly well with the books and picks up everything that is touched even when being very gentle. The thing that suprised me the most was just how many things on each page responded to it, Everything on each page has it's own individual sound effect or voice, most pages have an individual game aswell which are really well thought out and fun to play!
The pen also has a button to play back the entire last book that was played with, without the need to even have the book in front of you.
I bought deluxe Buzz & Woody for my other Daughter this year and thought i would have a hard time topping that present, but this Leapfrog Tag System ...Fantastic! very very special indeed and well worth investing in...
This Product brings reading into the 21st century and makes makes it much more fun and educates in a way a normal book cannot.

I have the old version of the Tag Reader that only stores 5 books and that is 5 star, fabulous! My Son had his first one for his 3rd birthday, we added books for his 4th birthday and have just added another couple of books for his 5th birthday. How many toys keep their attention that long? And I have no doubt we'll add more for his 6th. The online monitoring which I stumbled across is fascinating. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my daughters 5th birthday last weekend along with 3 books. I had read numerous previous reviews and thought it would be perfect for the child who already has everything! Aswell as being educational, it provides hours of fun and it gives other relatives ideas for other gifts as there are so many books available. Its really easy to use and my daughter is yet to put it down. Everybody who has seen it, myself included, has been highly impressed! Each book comes with information on which topics it teaches, for example the Tangled book teaches astronomy, problem solving, deductive reasoning and adjectives as well as reading the story anbd playing games! When you play the games and get the answers correct the pen announces you have won an award and instructs the parent to plug the pen into a computer to collect it. When you do use the pen with the computer to download the audio aspect etc is is a very straight forward and simple process. I really cant rave about this product enough, it is an exceptionally good buy!!

Fantastic
My daughter got is for Christmas and plays with it constantly. She loves to set it to sound out the letters and then she reads the words! The games are also good fun.
