Product Description

Product Description

Skipper suspects Private is getting "soft", so he has created four training missions, each with a different plush toy to rescue. Rise to the challenge and sharpen your mathematics skills while Private hones his elite commando skills, in this game for Leapster Explorer and LeapPad Explorer.

From HQ choose a mission, play games and solve puzzles to overcome obstacles and outsmart Zookeeper Alice. Watch out for King Julien who's on his own mission to cause mayhem!

Once you've restored order in the zoo, learn about endangered animals in Animal Fact Finder and unlock new animal fact cards for more learning fun.

As you play, you can earn badges for your achievements which can then be converted into LeapWorld tokens where you can customise your Penguins of Madagscar game. Or use your tokens in LeapWorld where you can adopt a pet, play games and earn rewards.

With Leapster and LeapPad Explorer the game dynamically adjusts the curriculum to the player's skill level so it's not too easy and not too hard.

5.0 out of 5 stars genius! 29 Jan 2011

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My 4 year old son rarely settles to play anything independently yet from the moment he switched this on he will spend an hour happily playing it by himself. He does still tend to guess answers rather than work them out and wants to get back to the arcade game when given puzzles. However, in a world of game console zombies, I think this is a winning choice. It has postponed the moment when he asks for a games console and I don't feel guilty when he plays it because I know the game play is broken up with educational puzzles. I also love the fact we can hook it up to the pc and see his academic progress. A wonderful toy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous for maths/number skills 29 Jan 2012

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My little one absolutely loves this game and surprised us at how well she does her number sequencing and maths skills and found it easy to understand. She is not yet 4 but the instructions were so clear as they were read to her she knew what she had to do without mummy or daddy helping to show her. She only has 3 games for her LeapPad and this was the one we thought would be least enjoyed as the other 2 are girly but that is not the case. She tells us what she has learnt about the rare animals and how to do her numbers. She personally prefers the training aspects of the game and as that is where most of the maths and sequencing skills are then we are more than happy with that.
