The story itself centres around a huge rainstorm, which blows through the island of Sodor, causing a tree to crash and break through the station house. Thomas's Friends are sent out to find help and aid in the repair and rescue effort. When they go missing, Thomas braves the raging storm to find them and proves to everyone what a really useful engine he can be.
Fans of Thomas and friends will be comfortable with the bold, bright images that perfectly replicate the characters they know so well from books and TV. The LeapPad comes with a special touch-sensitive pen--follow the story by using it to touch the words on the page.
