My toddler never really liked being read to. She wanted to do everything herself, and this allows her to do it. She will sit quietly and do the actions for herself. I can track her progress on the website, and if she's understanding what she's reading.
Leapfrog really has created a great system for parents and kids to go beyond regular learning.
I know that the pricetag can be a bit much for the books at nearly £10, but they go on sale often at many shops. It's worth every penny for the personalized learning you can do with kids.

i love this product you need the internet to install the books onto your tag junior, this comes with one book pre-installed so you can use it straight away (once you put 2xAAA batteries in it) online you can personilise it so it says your childs name when played with. is good for younger children too as you can place the reader on any part of the page and it responds appropriatly for example you put it on the text and it reads it you could place it on a picture and it would say something about it ect.... ive bought this for my daughter for xmas and was so impressed when i had a play and set it up that ive ordered another for another child i know at xmas

my daughter who is 2 1/2years old loves this, she played with one at a friends n really liked it so we got her one. i didn't realise how much content there was involved with the internet to follow my daughters learning progress while she uses the books. once u install the programme on your computer u have to keep adding extra books audio via the computer which i didn't realise, so after her being really impatient whilst i set the programme up and extra books up that we ordered with it, i was really impressed! although it only says u can have 5 books on the tag at once, i'm not sure if that means if we were to get her anymore we'd have to keep taking audio off n on the tag, that could cause a few upsets i think when she's wanting to use a particular book! overall i think this product is brilliant n so does my daughter! i'm always delighted to find products on amazon!
