this toy is meant for the leap pad interactive teaching system, the book fits onto the mini laptop and the cartridge fits also and becomes an interactive game and learning tool. It is not meant to be used on its own it is in conjuction with my first leap pad and is a fantastic idea for helping children to learn numbers, read and problem solve my five year old is reading + 1 year due to leap pad!

Disappointingly this toy cannot be used in its own right and needs the Tad LeapPad B00003GPTI to use this toy affectively
