I bought this table just after my little boy turned 8 months old. It can be used both with and without legs - without the legs as a floor toy for younger babies, then as a table when they are able to stand.
I found that before my son was able to stand he prefered to play with it with two legs attached (so it sat propped up on the floor at a 45 degree angle) rather than playing with it with no legs. Now at 9 months he quite happily pulls himself up and cruises around it - although I would recommend standing it against a wall and supervising them very carefully when they first learn to pull themselves up as they can pull it over on top of themselves. However, once they've got the hang of it (doesn't take long!) it should not be a problem.
Pros: two different learning modes (music or language), choice of English or French for the language mode, lots of activities (all of which are interactive, unlike cheaper versions), good height, should last until 2 years old (I hope!), legs clip on and off really easily and packs away quite neatly, two different volume settings, not too annoying music/sounds
Cons: I bought this because my little boy adores his Leapfrog activity centre (the one that supports them to stand in the middle) that he has over my Mum's house and because I wanted some activities he could enjoy as he grew older. However, whilst he does enjoy playing with this he does not like it nearly as much as his activity centre. That said, I still feel this was a good buy considering the price, how long it should last him and how easily it will store away after he has finished with it for baby #2!
