This microphone barely amplifies your voice, which was the whole point of buying it. The music etc. it plays is nice and loud but when you speak into it nothing audible comes out the speaker. We tried every possible setting and variation but in the end gave up. Maybe ours is faulty? Or maybe our voices aren't loud enough (doubtful!) But speaking as I find it's rubbish and has been sent back for a refund. A rolled up bit of paper as a makeshift megaphone would be louder

My 2 year old really enjoys playing with this, but the major downside is that the microphone is really weak so there's not much feedback for the child to hear themselves. It's still fun though and the songs are simple and engaging.

if you want to learn 1 song "i like bread" and only the first 2 lines then this is ok
