We have had the Leapfrog pad for years and our kids of gotten lots of use from it. It has been tossed around a bit but keeps on working well. After many years we decided to get a new interactive book. Ratatouille seemed perfect since my oldest is learning French at school. This way his baby brother can keep learns some French as well.

Most fun of all Leap stories so far 27 Sep 2007
By Denise Forsythe - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Of the 4 "My First Leap Pad" books we have, this is the most fun (and we haven't even seen the movie). My 3 year old daughter loves all the fun sounds of the items in the kitchen and the music is captivating for her and we like it too. As far as being educational, it's on par with the other leap books but the underlying story is what makes this one extra charming.

Lots of fun while learning 10 Sep 2007

This was the first book and cartridge we bought to accompany our children's Little Touch Leap Pad. It was a great choice! My Kindergartner loves it, even our 3 year old is learning. There are simple instructions to follow along as your youngster learns numbers, colors, food groups, even how different items in the kitchen work. The unit itself is compact and has a convenient carry handle to make this a cinch to take along in the car. Our kids enjoy every one of the activities, which is not usually the case with electronic toys, and they especially love the page where they help dress Linguini from head to toe before he dashes off to work. The voices are the same as the characters in the movie, and the art work is colorful and fun. I am so happy with this set that I will purchase two more as holiday gifts for friend's children.

Love it. 25 Oct 2012

I have got a number of these books for my 2 and 3 yr olds. They have so much fun listening to the words and numbers and dancing to some of the tunes ( depending on which book you get). They are recognising some of the words in the library books they get too which i am sure is down to the help from leap frog books.Money well spent.

My daughter (2 1/2) LOVES this book. I bought her this one, Dora and the princess book. She liked this one the best. She just sits and goes through the whole book, then turns it over and does it all over again. Really an outstanding book!
