Pretty low on content,

This is one of the worst Leappad books I have found. There isn't much for a child to learn and most of it is populated by silly sounds and inane phrases from the cars. There is an alphabet type page, but not all the letters are there to be found, for instance. My 3 1/2 year old son who has begun to read recently found it quite boring, the puzzles if you can call them that, are too basic and the interaction promised simply isn't there.Don't buy it unless your child is an avid Cars fan.

My son has played with this every day since he had it. Although the educational value could be improved, he is having a lot of fun with it.

This book is great! My son loves it! He is obsessed with Cars so this was a no-brainer to buy. The games inside it have helped him not only with his numbers, but also sequencing and drawing within lines. He plays this for hours! The only complaint I have with LeapPad books is that they are really easy to crease/fold. When he turns the pages, he tends to fold or wrinkle them. Otherwise, a game I totally recommend!

Edutainment at its finest,
By C. Young "C. Young" - Published on Amazon.com

I have a daughter that will be going into Kindergarten next year. My wife and I bought her a LeapPad and two software modules for it for Christmas last year thinking it would help her get a bit of a head start before starting school. While my daughter doesn't play with this on her own, she likes using this software with me or my wife. It seems like she is introducing us to characters she liked in Cars and all the things they can do in this software. By allowing her to "show us around", she has learned quite a bit from this software. She seems to have fun with it as a kid, and the fact that she is learning is very satisfying for me as a parent. I think LeapPad has done a good job here. 4 of 6 people found the following review helpful:

Leap Pad - "Cars",

Purchased for our 3 yr old Grandson and, as usual, you can't beat the leap pad system for being both fun and a good learning toy.
