The 2nd Series of The League of Gentlemen sounds wonderfull as an audio CD/Cassette, even short car journeys are brought to life by this award winning comedy!
Joby talbot's excellant music leads us into our first ever meeting with Papa Lazarou, surely the League's most awe inspiring character!
In fact as you listen to this release, it is the music, in the absense of vision, that really brings the show to life!
Fans of the show can close their eyes and visualise characters such as Herr Lipp who will take you in his German mouth and Hilary Briss and the secret of the Special Stuff!
New fans, tempted by the excellant 3rd Series will find a world populated by soon to be married Transvestite, Barbara and Edward and Tubbs, the local shop owners out to find a bride for their monster of a son David.
Originally broadcast on BBC2 from 14 Jan 00 - 18 Feb 00 this was a visual treat and is now an audio wonder!

Fans of royston vasey will love this cd set - with many of the origional characters from the TV series - and many others - set in the context of 'SPENT' - a mythical village in the same 'league' as Royston Vasey. Barbara - Dr Chinnery - Pauline - Mickey - Ross - The Dentons - all in their glorious origins - with some familiar and different stories from the TV setting - and other characters not in the TV program ....Just superb - play it in the car and get those STRANGE looks at traffic lights as your sides split......great stuff!!!!
