I am a huge fan of John Pritchard's books and this is excellent in itself, a goldmine of creative ideas. However, I have also just bought the similarly titled book "The Second Intercessions Handbook" hoping for more of the same.When the books arrived I was dismayed to realise the latter is in fact the same book, just an earlier edition. Further than that I see Amazon are actually advertising them as a duo. Something needs to be done to clarify this situation.

I already have "The Intercessions Handbook" by John Pritchard and I really rate it. Therefore, when I saw "The Second Intercessions Handbook" and "Creative Ideas for Public and Private Prayer" I bought both. However, when I received them I discovered that they are identical except for the title. There is no indication of that. They have different titles and different ISBN numbers but they are the same book.

This is a brilliant book - a must have for anyone leading intercessions regularly or wanting some creative ideas for leading children's prayers/all age services. Some of the ideas are truly imaginative, are effective and work.

Again to reiterate, its an excellent book, but the contents is exactly IDENTICAL to the previous book of Second Intercessions
