Format:Audio CD
While being able to throw the uncontious mind from one extreme of emotions to the other (often in the same song), it is easy to see why EVERYONE who has heard Mr. Phelps' music has been wonderfully inspired and contented. Drawing inspiration from the old country blues but at the same time re-inventing it, Kelly Joe is quite simply one of the greatest musicians alive.

Put this album on, let the heartfelt, ballsy blues of Kelly Joe Phelps wash over you, and you'll soon wonder (as I did) why this man isn't hailed as a living legend. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Saw KJP at the Lowry UK this year and he was amazing. No slide unfortunately, but in front of an audience of what? 200? he was amazing. Full on playing and really intense vocals. The audience was fully behind him what evr he played. He "don't talk a lot" but who cares? he plays a lot!

Simply sublime
