this will be a christmas present for my 3 year old boy .. i screwed it together today and was more impressed by just the photo on here !! it looks soo much fun and i guarantee my boy will LOVE IT along with the figures and dragon i have bought to go with it !! cant wait to see his face !! the ONLY thing i have to say is the blue tower tops are not fixed on and i can imagine my boy will take them off and they'll get stood on .. i think i will fix them on myself to make them permanent :)

Bought this for my nearly 3 year old son for Christmas.
The castle itself is a good size and sturdy enough, but the blue turrets are only placed on the top, and therefore keep getting knocked off very easily.
Likewise with the poles and flags - these merely sit in the hole and keep falling off. The drawbridge (which you can lower up and down) snapped within a couple of days, but think that was perhaps my one year old! However, it could be more sturdy.
All-in-all, my son does play with it and obviously enjoys it - it's just frustrating for the parents, having to keep on putting on these turrets. My husband is going to glue them in place!

This fort is excellent value for money and is a nice change from all of the plastic that is out there at the moment. It is a little delicate for 2 year old hands though.
