Features include; opening doors sized for the Le Toy Van Fire Engine, a fire fighter's pole, a fire hydrant and a training tower with reversable 'fire' windows. Finished in blue shades with red and yellow details; accessories include a set of bunk beds, a table, a chair, a storage locker, a phone and a computer. The Fire Station Set is perfectly scaled for the separately available Le Toy Van range of Budkins playsets, characters and accessories, including the Fire Engine Set and Firefighters Gift Pack.
The product is flat packed with simple assembly required. All Le Toy Van painted wooden toys are designed in the UK and ethically manufactured in Indonesia using responsibly sourced materials. Fully safety tested for ages 3 and up.

I received this toy today after some internet research into toy Fire Stations available to purchase in this country made of both wood and plastic. I opted for this particular model as the plastic ones available weren't very exciting and this was by far the most attractive out of the wooden ones I had looked into. Upon opening, I was pleased with the thickness of both the wooden sections and MDF boards that makes it up and it looks to have been painted well and lacquered to hopefully give harder wear. My three-and-a-half year old son was delighted to have this as an after Christmas gift purchased with his Christmas money.
The assembly instructions were easy to follow and well illustrated, my only niggles were that some of the screw holes were a tiny bit offline in places and the dowel holes for little canopy over the window were not drilled deep enough for it to fit. (I will consider this a little project for my problem solving hubby to sort out!) I would also recommend a little glue where the training tower floors slot in to keep them in place when the interchangable windows are slid in and out and also some glue for 'fire station' sign at the top which just slots in and sits quite loosely. Nevertheless we are happy with the toy and would recommend it although the price tag was a bit on the high side when bought with the engine and the crew all separately.

I began looking for something that my 2 year old son could use as a dolls house. I was happy for him to have a dolls house, but I couldn't find one at a reasonable price that wasn't pink or flowery. The price of this fire station was what first caught my attention... My son loves Fireman Sam and when one of the other reviews said that all the FS accessories fitted in this fire station - it was a definite!
It came flat packed but was really easy to put together. It has a set of bunk beds, a desk and chair and a locker which also fit the FS figures. It is really good quality and looks lovely - the paintwork is great.
My son loves this and is a great hit with other children who come over to play!
Would definitely recommend purchasing this!

Bought this toy for my 2 year old fire engine crazy son. He absolutely loves it. My 5 year old son also really likes playing with it so I can see this being in use for a long time. Very sturdy and well made, extremely cute to look at. Do as the other reviewer said and make it in advance as it takes a while (although pretty easy to make). Jupiter from Fireman Sam fits inside. I bought 2 firemen to go with it.
