Nice copy 29 Aug 2012
By S R - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback Verified Purchase
I ordered this for a medieval french literature class and was very pleased with it. This is a lovely copy and came very quickly.
This is an allegorical poem, written by two authors. It presents a woman being wooed by a courtier in a walled garden. The second author then continues to philosophize about love. An important early medieval text and an influence on many future thinkers in France.
