Le Creuset textiles are made of a unique combination of natural materials:
1st layer: commercial quality towelling – 100% cotton, an excellent natural insulator. Stain and splash resistant thanks to a special Teflon coating.
2nd layer: stitch bonded cotton interlining – extra protection from this traditional lining, a proven insulator.
3rd layer: integral steam/grease barrier – an additional layer to prevent dangerous transference of heat if gloves get wet or greasy during use.
4th layer: canvas - 100% cotton, stronger and more resistant than drill or jacquard. Teflon coated – the most durable coating available to resist stain and repel water.
Care and Use
Le Creuset textiles are fully washable and pre-shrunk.

A lovely well made item of kitchen equipment from Le Creuset. Worth every penny as it stops you burning your hands when using cast iron frypans or griddles. Much more secure than a cloth which I find has a tendency to slip on the handle This doesn't and is all the better for it. Thank you le creuset for this useful addition and thanks to Amazon for its prompt delivery BFG

I don't own Le Creuset ovenware but have stainless steel pans with steel handles that get very hot. These are great to pop on the handles to carry safely.

Skin saver!
Excellent product. Having struggled without the handlle glove previously, this product was a God send. It's easy to use and reduces the risk of a nasty burn.

Much needed
Had bought some solid handle frying pans without considering the problem of heat absorption. This stops the problem and can also be used as a mini oven glove for lifting off pans... Read more

handle cover
great for protection against the heat of griddle hanldes, however has be be removed between use on hob as heat from hanlde and gas can cause it to catch fire!!!
