The jar is just the right weight to allow it to cope with the host of utensils that it can hold without toppling over, it therefore scores very highly for that alone. I keep the teal version on the worktop and one in cerise is put to use under the sink to hold all of my washing up brushes and the other bits and pieces that can otherwise easily be lost in a cupboard. Both come up well when washed up by hand or in the dishwasher. They are produced in sufficient varieties of colour that there should be one to match your kitchen scheme.

Has a certain weight to it which means you don't have to worry about it falling over when you take our your ladle.
I have about 4 or 5 large spoons, ladle, 2 tongs, masher etc ad they look great it in. It's tall enough to make sure things don't fall out and not too wide that it gets rammed so full you can't take anything out.
We have a few Le Creuset items such as sugar bowl, casserole, griddle pan and they all look great in the kitchen even if the colours don't match. If i get a bigger kitchen, need more utensils then I will buy another. I already have 2 though!

Really Useful Jar
This is the perfect size for frequently used utensils - solid and stylish in matt black. Makes life a lot easier than rummaging through untidy drawers.
