Place the frozen dish in a cold oven and set the temperature, allowing the dish and oven to heat together. Before serving always check that the centre of the food is completely and uniformly hot.

I don't usually write reviews but as these ramekins arrived this morning (well before Valentines Day!) and I was surprised at how tiny they are, I thought it maybe helpful to share my thoughts.
I assumed these hearts were the standard 10 cm heart ramekins - but they are not. My assumption is partly, not wholly, my fault:
The size is not mentioned in the main product description. These hearts actually measure 7 cm at the widest point (internal dia). This may not appear much smaller but it makes a huge difference to the capacity. The standard lidded ramekins hold 0.3L but these hold only 0.1L. While the word 'mini' is mentioned in the main description, it does not state the capacity or size. If you are familiar - or even unfamiliar - with Le Creuset ramekins you could easily, like me, assume they are the larger size but simply sold in sets of three (they're also available in sets of two) as a Valentine boxed 'special'. It is very easy to overlook the fact that 0.1L is not actually 0.25 or 0.3L when you are rushing to buy before the product becomes unavailable.
Don't get me wrong, these are indeed cute, great quality and charming. Perfect if you are fully aware of the size or/and knowingly purchase them with the thought they'll do for serving preserves, chutneys or sauces at the table or perhaps could be great as ornaments or trinket boxes.
However, I feel that the advertising of this product has been somewhat misleading - not incorrect in description, merely subtle and clever...... After all, how many consumers do not end up spending more money for less product or services over the Valentine's period.....
In sum, If you are purchasing these for their intended purpose and if you want to consume more than two or three small mouthfuls of food, you will be much better off buying the 10 cm hearts (they are available in several other colours), they are less expensive, too. If you're happy with the size of these, do however bear in mind you will also need to be sure you use spoons scaled down for the size of these tiny hearts otherwise it will absolutely ruin the effect. I already own slim, long-handled spoons but even these appear a touch too large against these dainty ramekins.
Since first writing this review, I have discovered that the twin set does not mention the size or capacity in the product description - however it states they hold 0.18L. They are indeed larger. You could be forgiven for assuming they are the same size as the triple set. All very confusing. I'm off now to go and see how much 0.1L and 0.18L actually is. I dare say all but chefs and those who need to measure liquids regularly will automatically appreciate this amount.
