The 3–ply Rectangular Roaster offers the ultimate in versatility making it an ideal investment piece. As well as traditional roasting it is perfect for baking, poaching and bain–marie cooking plus searing meat and vegetables.
The upright handles, attached securely with stainless steel rivets, make lifting a full pan easy and safe whilst also saving on storage space.
The Le Creuset 3-ply Stainless Steel range is made using the latest multi-layering technology where stainless steel and aluminium are bonded together to form the special 3-ply material. A core of aluminium is sandwiched between two layers of premium grade stainless steel cleverly combining the cooking benefits of both materials. The aluminium stretches from base to rim, meaning heat spreads evenly and gently throughout the entire pan – not just the base.
Professional-style cast handles are attached with stainless steel rivets for a superior, secure fixing.
Suitable for use on all hob types including induction, oven and grill safe.

This is the ultimate Roasting pan money can buy, its sold, heavy gauge stainless steel which has been polished to a mirror finish, it cooks evenly and conducts heat into your food better than anything i have seen or used in the past, It does mean you may need to lower the temp in your oven slightly as the pan will help cook your food faster because of its conductive nature, i have cooked a 6lb joint of shoulder pork for several hours and the dish washer cleaned the pan back to its mirror shine with no additional scrubbing or soaking or help of any kind at all, all the dark brown burnt bits removed no problem, this rarely happens even with my non stick roasters.
Works great on stove top to make gravy,i honestly cant tell you how amazing this is, if Le Creuset want more of my money all they need to do is produce bake ware from the the same materials and of the same quality and i will gladly hand over the cash.
If your doing Roast dinners or Christmas dinner this year, for the love of food buy it!

Functions as advertised:
Cooks evenly, easy to clean afterwards and even looks pretty smart.
I am strongly tempted to buy a second one ...
Interestingly, mine is completely flat underneath - though, as I cook on gas, this wasn't a concern/requirement for me.

As the above reviewer mentioned,the bottom edges are raised, so I guess it's possible there would be issues if used on glass / ceramic hobs.
However, I use gas, and its worked perfectly on that. Also its a really high grade chrome finish which has stayed looking great so far. Also, Le Creuset have stated it is suitable for glass hobs, and I would assume they have tested it before selling given all their experience? Then again maybe not...?
Overall I'm pleased with it. Perfect size for a family roast, and the usual high standard finish you come to expect from Le Creuset.
