Once Sparkling Wine has been opened, it is important to preserve it properly so as to enjoy the rest of the bottle. Preserve the fizz and flavour in your sparkling wine or Champagne for several days with this easy to use Le Creuset Stopper.
How to Use
Simply place on top of the bottle and 'snap' down to create an airtight seal. To remove, simply squeeze the sides together and lift off.
Clean with warm soapy water.

I have their champagne opener, which is absolutely brilliant - gunmetal, solid and extremely efficient. Although a bit pricey, it comes beautifully boxed and makes a very good present, and I would very highly recommend the product. However, this stopper was a great disappointment. It is made from some type of polythene/plastic and unceccessarily complicated. It broke the first time it was used. However, I am awarding it 2 stars, because the refund was paid immediately, with no complications - so, excellent service and I would use this supplier again. This was intended for a present, so I ordered another, cheaper, alternative from Amazon, which has proved to be very satisfactory and was gratefully received by the recipient.

Its a great accessory to have to keep any sparkling wine fizzy! without this the wine would go flat and not be able to be used if any is left over. Good idea.

Works superbly! However, if you're of the clumsy type like me when laying it down in the fridge make sure that there is no foil stuck under it as it breaks the seal. And don't pull it out by the wing things used to open it. Champagne everywhere. It was a bit of a mess! Otherwise. Superb!

Think again before buying!
After 5 uses one of the arms broke!! Have taken this up with the manufacturer. Despite a 5 yr guarantee this product seems poorly made and flimsy.
