Utilizing a double aeration chamber system that allows wine to breathe while poured; the Aerator Pourer Stopper is a convenient way to open up the true flavours and complexities of every glass while protecting tablecloths from drips and stains. With a secure 90º turn, the Aerator Pourer Stopper fits any bottle to form a leak-proof, airtight seal, preserving wine for easy, worry-free storage until the next pour.
How to Use
Place the Pourer Aerator Stopper onto the wine bottle.
‘Open’ Stopper by aligning protrusions on cap and base, as shown in Care & Use instructions, exposing flow holes inside.
Pour the wine. Flow is regulated to prevent surges. Wine is helped to ‘breathe’ as it passes through the double aeration chamber.
Non-Drip Lip prevents drips, after pouring.
Close stopper by twisting head 90 degrees to cover flow holes. (External protrusions no longer in line).
Clean with warm soapy water.

Bought this today as I've been looking for one for ages and thought that as a Le Creuset product it would be high quality.
Got a nice bottle of wine home and opened it. I read the instructions that came with the aerator. Then attempted to insert it in the bottle. As I did that, it wasn't going in very well at all, then the outer part turned and something broke in it (plastic pieces came out). On further inspection what appears to have happened is the parts which were meant to stop you from turning any further, when you're using the aerator as a stopper, had broken. I thought, oh well, I can still use it as just an aerator/pourer but frankly it's rubbish at that too. Wine drips out of the bottle top where the aerator is inserted whilst you're pouring, which completely defeats the purpose of this gadget. What a waste of money and a good bottle of wine (got bits of plastic in my glass)!
Very disappointed with the quality and will be returning back to the shop or going straight the Le Creuset to seek a refund.

Claims to be a drip stop but still drips very time it's used. Whether it aerates I cannot tell. I expected better for the price.
It does make a difference to the wine, but it does not fit all the bottlenecks. Also it should lock and act as a wine stopper too, but that part of it has broken, which is not that big a deal as we usually manage to finish a bottle at a time!
