Lazy Dog -- a popular Sunday club night at London's Notting Hill Arts Club -- marks the second product of Watt's DJ experiments.
Co-founded by Watt and London record store honcho/DJ Jay Hannan, the Lazy Dog nights provide a spatial embodiment for this user-friendly brand of house. In fact, it's as perfect for Sundays as champagne brunch. With a combination of powerful, but muted beats and abundant soul and Latin influences, Lazy Dog's sets satiate without enhancing that hangover from Saturday. This two-disc set captures the Lazy Dog flava with one disc mixed by Watt and one by Hannan.
It won't be the last.
