Slow moving and well directed, The Lazarus Project builds suspense well. It is a psychological drama that demands attention as the main character tries to work out if he is the victim of a conspiracy, experiencing episodes of mental illness or the subject of mystical intervention by an angel.

i bought this film as it stars paul walker(i own ALLof his films)and i enjoyed it more than i thought i would. paul stars as ben, who has just finshed his parole and is enjoyin his life with his wofe(piper perabo)and young daughter. his brother is then released from jail and visits him, wanting ben to join him on a robbery to steal some gold dust, ben says no but then loses his job and feels he has no other choice but to do it, however it doesnt go accordin to plan and people are killed, includin his brother, ben is sentenced to death by lethal injection, this is when things get strange, he suddenly finds himself in a mental institution working as the groundkeeper and told if he trys to leave he wil die,hes told this by an apparent angel,and told to forget his wife and daughter,ben doesnt know whats real, whether hes crazy or whether hes part of some conspiracy.paul is very good in the movie as are the other actors, the only let down for me was the ending, they seemed to want to end the film all of a sudden, but apart from that i would definetly recommend it

The most exciting thing about this film is the synopsis written on the box. Thank goodness I only rented this movie.
