Format: Paperback
Laying On of Stones is a useful and well written book. The first chapter contains and overview of the magical energies of stones. Using the healing and stress-relieving energies in the home and office is outlined in the chapter two. Section three fill in any blanks one may have in regards to chakras and auras. The fourth and fifth parts of Laying On of Stones contain 39 illustrations of patterns or grids of stones used to heal various parts of the body or enhance and strengthen one in non-material. These illustrations are accompanied by complete explanations of the stones to be used and information regarding how these stones and patterns effect healing. Chapter seven is a useful encyclopaedia of stones and their magical powers. Instead of giving us a plethora of stones, which can be confusing, DJ Conway has thoughtfully chosen about twenty stones for the healer to work with. Initially I found this book fascinating and have since found it to be useful in my healing practices. I recommend Laying On of Stones to anyone who wishes to become better acquainted with the energies of stones and to those who are wishing to add to their understanding of them.

Crystal Healing Methods 5 Nov. 2008
By Crystal Healer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book was very helpful in learning about healing stones and the laying on of stones. I really like D. J. Conway's books, but I actually bought this one sight unseen based on how helpful I found the other books (pendulum, crystals, etc.) I would highly recommend this book if someone is learning to be a crystal healer or work with alternative healing methods.

Very practical applications. Lack some explanations and how different layouts may work though. One has to try the layout himself/herself in order to find out.

Good but not very good 17 Mar. 2010

The author works with a very limited number of stones. It's interesting but not very deep!
