Synopsis
Law and Order - Special Victims Unit is a spinoff of the incredibly popular and long-running crime drama Law and Order. Set in New York City, SVU focuses exclusively on sex crimes and, instead of spending half the programme's hour with the cops and the other half with the lawyers, the series stays with the police and the criminals they pursue throughout most of the show. Stars Christopher Merloni and Mariska Hargitay deliver outstanding performances as detective partners who uncover some of the city's most shocking crimes, with Richard Belzer, Ice-T, and Dan Florek rounding out the top-notch cast. Features the fifth series in its entirety.

SVU season five has got to be my favourite season by far!
I got it on it's release date and it took me only one week to watch!
This season, we experience a few major changes to the show, the first being the depature of ADA Alexandra Cabot (who is suberbly written out in ep.4 "Loss", which is one of my favourite ever episodes!), and the introduction of ADA Casey Novak (Diane Neal), who is introduced in ep.5, and has proved to be as good, if not better, an ADA than her preceder.
This season is 10/10, no episode isn't worth watching and this is a must buy to all fans!

P.S. Incase some people are wondering, there are no subtitles (but all scenes are quite clear and easy to understand. Don't worry!)
