5.0 out of 5 stars Time Issue! 23 Feb 2006

Another review mention difficulties completing this game. It is true that there is a timer which operates and throws you off the case if you have not completed a section. However, there are options at the start of the game which, if you select them, effectively give you an infinite ammount of time!
Get hold of a good walkthrough, such as Gameboomers, and read what they have to say!
It is actually an interesting game with lots of red herrings - so the infinite time option is definitely worth having.

2.0 out of 5 stars law and disorder! 29 Jan 2004
this game had a really interesting story line, but the clock beats you every time and you never complete a case!
i have been thrown off the case 5 TIMES and have never took the case to trial.
when you have been thrown off the case, you have to start again which gets rather boring and frustrating!!
not a game for the impatient as you feel like punching the screen and planning your own murder on some of the characters featured!
collecting some of the evidence is hard and sometimes the evidence wasn't shown and didn't work.
you also have technical problems with the game eg freezing and black screens.
if you want a crime game C.S.I. is alot better!

4.0 out of 5 stars A great murder mystery solver 28 Jan 2007
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
This game kept me entertained for hours. In the game you have to attend the scene of the crime, look for clues, evidence and speak to witnesses. The more you speak to people the more is unravelled. The time limit does add some pressure to trying to solve the case and it took me several tries. (and i'm a police officer!) I find a good game is one where you are even thinking about the game when not playing it to try and complete it. That was definately the case with this Law and order game. Graphically, the game is not great but the graphics are sufficient for the type of game. Thats why i give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect 14 Nov 2003
By A Customer
This game has a good storyline which keeps the game interesting. The game is divided into two sections. In the first part you play the detective, interview witnesses and gather evidence. In the second part you conduct the court case (with a bit more investigation thrown in). You will learn about the American justice system in the course of play.
Some rough edges were apparent, the game froze a couple of times, necessitating rebooting. The game has a timer which limits the amount of things you can do between sections. There is a patch available which effectively slows the timer. The same patch also was required to enable the game to work under DirectX versions higher than 6. The graphics are not the best, but adequate for the game.
Summary - great game, good gameplay, pity about the technical side but most problems can be overcome. I've not seen the TV show, but it looks like it might be worth looking at judging from the game.
