Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

In Law & Order: Criminal Intent, the player takes on the role of Detective Robert Goren (voiced by actor Vincent D'Onofrio) and attempts to solve four homicide investigations. As Detective Goren, the player will scrutinise crime scenes, analyse evidence and interview witnesses and suspects. The player will utilise Goren's instincts for interrogation by selecting his psychological approach to each witness and potential suspect. The player will decide if Goren should try to deceive the suspect, intimidate him into talking or take another approach altogether. As the clues build, the player will guide the detective toward his goal of catching the perpetrators and building strong cases against them.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's not THAT bad! 10 Dec 2006
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
I can't disagree about many features of the game, yes it does have dodgy graphics, yes the main character does wave his arms like a chicken at random intervals (hilarious to watch though!) and yes it does crash. However, I'm not that bothered about graphics and he moves well enough to get around without taking too long. The puzzles are good and although there are a few (well a lot of) glitches it's still worth a look, perhaps get it second hand. Just remember to save every 10 minutes or so.

1.0 out of 5 stars This game does not work 11 May 2006
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
Be warned! I have been waiting for this game to come out for so long. Althought the Law and Order games are great fun, I'm afraid this game does not come up to the mark and really should not have been available for retail until the bugs were fixed. It crashes the whole time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money 17 April 2006
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
This game would be fine if it didn't keep crashing. There are three mysteries to solve, the first two fine, in between crashing, so you have to save the game after each interview throughout which is a pain. On the third mystery, apart from the crashing, there is a scene where three receipts have to be picked up, fine normally, except the third receipt isn't there, no hotspot. Apparently there is a "glitch" in the programming. So you cannot complete the third mystery which should then culminate in a link to all three mysteries. So a waste of money.
