In 2004 young social worker Sophia Morgan escapes from traumatic experiences at home in the North to train as a journalist in London. On the track of a story she ends up in North London where she falls in love with a tiny house painted lavender, moves in and makes friends with the occupants of her city street.

About the Author
Wendy Robertson grew up in the North of England, one of four children whose widowed mother, an ex-nurse, worked in a factory. Wendy has worked as a teacher and lecturer, gaining a Master’s whilst also writing short stories, articles, a column in the
Northern Echo and novels for young adults. She was recently Writer In Residence at Long Newton Prison.
