I like the DVD set but it wasn't what I'd expected.
In the description it's not clear that the movies are NOT from Laurel AND Hardy. If you watch the image of the DVD box carefully, you can know that this product contains movies from Stan Laurel and movies from Oliver Hardy. I would like the description to be clear about this.

Anyone expecting classic Laurel & Hardy from this collection will be disappointed. These are the films they made before they teamed up and the quality is great. I have only had these on rental but I shall definitely be buying them in the future to supplement my 21-disc set of the Laurel & Hardy classics which I have almost worn out from viewing and re-viewing since I purchased them in January. I can't wait to have my own copy of these early films so that I can watch them over and over with increased enjoyment. A must have for all L & H fans!!

Stan Laurel And Oliver Hardy Definitive Collection is a wonferful DVD box set. Giving fans the opportunity to see their great comic talent before they teamed up.
I just keep playing these films - they are outstanding.

It's from cinema club
My Laurel and Hardy collection are from Universal pictures but this one is from cinema club. I know one from this collection with Stan Laurel in it's called Roughest Africa. Read more
