Obviously this is a luxury item/adult toy. I am a PhD student and spend long hours at my laptop and frivolous fun is welcomed to lighten my day - and indeed the other post graduates I sit with, who often ask to borrow him. So if your day tends to be quite serious and you feel a bit tied to your laptop, then this little guy will bring a smile to your face and gives your laptop a good seeing to. Enjoy.

This product always brings a smile to everyones face, Its not something you see everyday! Its amazing how he just seems to keep going! The product is reliable but sometimes it does get a little jammed, Overall its a great product

Here's the perfect notebook computer accessory for that person who seems to have averything. This little Dalmation never ceases to amuse those who see it! It seems that humping your USB port is the only point to this little dog.

It absolutely has no redeeming qualities like built in flash memory, or even eyes that light up, though it's said that some tinkerers have modified them to both. Received one as a gift, and it is fun, and seems quite attached to notebook computers.

Fun value: 5-stars
Educational: 3-stars
Durable: 5-stars (it pretty amazing!)
Overall value: 5-stars, without a doubt!

There's an ironic quote from the Google translation of the original Japanese page, and seems quite appropriate for the action of this little dog: "until it pulls out, it does not stop."

There are other variations (different breeds) available, so take your pick:

- USB Humping Dog - Beagle

- USB Humping Dog - Shaggy

OK, they're not as practical as some of the other USB devices you can find here, but they are a lot of fun.

Update: According to the manuacturer, a personal computer with a USB port is all that's required, and the product is compatible with any OS. Personal tests on both the Mac and PC platforms prove this to be correct.
