After a four year hiatus Jim Heath and his band are back with a new release and was it worth the wait? Hell, yeah! Heath's country influences are a little more to the fore with this one, what with songs about country livin', paycheck-spending wives, Texas, God, expanding waistlines and.. er.. cacti. Best tracks for me have to be the rockin' 'River Ran Dry' and 'Oh God / Doesn't Work in Vegas', which my workmates probably know by heart now, seeing as how I've been whistling it for a fortnight straight. Without doubt one of their best albums to date! Awesome!
