For anyone who is preparing pupils to face AS and A level Latin unseen translation, this book is very helpful in indicating the standard of passages as well as giving a useful selection of the authors prescribed by OCR. The only thing it lacks is a section of mark schemes which would, of course, be helpful for the busy teacher! Despite the lack of these, it is an excellent teaching tool and, if you are a Latin teacher, it will make your life easier, especially if you are new to the OCR syllabus.

Another excellent teaching resourse from Ashley Carter, with slightly modified and abbreviated and annotated passages from Livy, Caesar and other writers.

I've had this book for two years and it's great. Lots of translations to complete of both AS and A2 standard. A nice lot of marking for your teacher, but definitely make sure you buy this book at the start of your AS year if you're going to do Latin, as practise makes perfect!

As an AS Latin student, I am very greatful to Ashely Carter for publishing this book! It is extrememly helpful in setting the standards for the unseen translation exam, and lets you know exactly what will be expected. And you can't trust anyone more than the chief examiner for both GCSE and A level Latin courses.
